Nordkorea erneut offline - USA verweigern Kommentar

Die vier Online-Netzwerke des Landes gingen am Dienstag offline. Das berichtete die auf Internetsicherheit spezialisierte US-Firma Dyn Research. Bereits zuvor sei das Netz stundenlang instabil gewesen. Bereits am Montag war Nordkorea laut den Experten mehr als neun Stunden vom weltweiten Datennetz abgeschnitten gewesen.

Nachwirkungen von Hackerangriff

US-Präsident Barack Obama hatte Nordkorea für einen Hackerangriff auf das Filmstudio Sony Pictures verantwortlich gemacht. Durch die Attacke waren Ende November vertrauliche Informationen ins Internet gestellt worden. Ziel der Hackergruppe namens Guardians of Peace war die Absetzung der Politkomödie „The Interview“, in der es um ein fiktives Mordkomplott gegen Nordkoreas Machthaber Kim Jong-un geht. Sony verschob den Kinostart des Streifens auf unbestimmte Zeit.

Die USA hüllen sich nach dem massiven Internet-Ausfall in Nordkorea vom Montag in Schweigen. Eine Sprecherin im Außenamt in Washington weigerte sich, auf Journalistenfragen zu antworten, ob die USA hinter der Panne stecken. „Ich habe heute nichts Neues über Nordkorea mitzuteilen“, sagte die Sprecherin Marie Harf am Dienstag in Washington.

"Wird Reaktion geben"

Sie verwies lediglich auf die Ankündigung von Präsident Obama, dass es eine Reaktion auf den jüngsten Hackerangriff Nordkoreas auf das Sony-Filmstudio in den USA geben werde. Wie Obama nannte aber auch die Sprecherin keinerlei Einzelheiten.
