Unter iOS 8 ist man nicht mehr an die Tastatur von Apple gebunden, sondern kann auch jene von anderen Anbietern verwenden. Dadurch stehen neue Eingabemethoden zur Verfügung. Ein Beispiel ist die Swipe-Tastatur, die unter Android-Nutzern schon länger bekannt ist. Tastaturen kann man ab heute aus dem Appstore laden. Manche sind kostenlos, für andere muss man bezahlen.
