Start-up campaign: the top 10

The search for Austria's Next Top Start-up has been running on futurezone in cooperation with A1 since May 6, 2013. Creative and innovative entrepreneurs were given an opportunity to submit their ideas and projects for the multi-stage founder's contest. The submission phase has ended and the expert jury has selected the ten best projects. Now, they are being presented for the futurezone reader vote.

Video portraits
The best ten of the community have prepared 90-second videos to introduce themselves and explain what their start-ups are about. futurezone readers can vote for their favorites starting on September 1. This should narrow the field down to the best five start-ups, which will then pitch their ideas to the expert jury in the final round.

One year of professional assistance
The start-up that wins the competition will receive professional assistance from A1 for one year, and will be provided with an office in the A1 building on Obere Donaustraße in Vienna. Technical equipment will also be provided together with consulting for all issues of starting a businesses such as legal, marketing, controlling and sales advice. A1 will also take care of public relations work in cooperation with futurezone. futurezone will then report about the new founder and the development of the start-up. The winner is also guaranteed a nomination in the Start-ups category in the futurezone Award 2013, which will be presented in November.
